more about andy saunders

After touring Australia and South East Asia, Andy had yet another successful season with Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2016. With 31 shows in a three week residency at Melbourne Town Hall as well as TV performances on Comedy Up Late, Oxfam Gala and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival 30th Birthday Bash, Andy is warmed up and ready to set the laugh bar very high with his beloved live audiences.

Saunders has headlined Corroboree Sydney’s Black Humour Comedy Night and his online comedy show WhiteBLACKatcha tackles political correctness and stereotypes in equal measure with parodies of TV shows and characters such as Ray Ray Boy, the Aboriginal zumba instructor.

Saunders and fellow WhiteBLACKatcha creators Grant Leigh Saunders and Jay Davis were commissioned last year by ABC TV to produce festive show Black Santa.

His parody of One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful called Coz I’m Aboriginal, meanwhile, has amassed more than 350,000 views on Youtube.
