For Year 12 Students

Take your HSC monologue performance to the next level with NORPA Youth’s three day HSC Monologue workshop.

Over the course of the workshop, participants will be encouraged to analyse, rehearse and polish their HSC performance facilitated by actor/teacher Scott Johnson.

Students will be encouraged to utilise their own creativity and skills developed in previous studies. Through exploration of vocal skills, movement dynamics, timing, style and form, this workshop provides a great opportunity to add a new dimension to your performance skills and knowledge.

This workshop has strictly limited numbers (14 max.) so book quickly to avoid disappointment.

Venue: NORPA, Lismore City Hall

Early Bird Cost: $200 per person if booked before Sunday 13 June 2021
Standard Cost: $230 per person if booked after Sunday 13 June 2021

About Scott Johnson

Scott trained as an actor at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. He has worked as an actor extensively for over 20 years with companies including Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, Queensland Theatre Company and Bell Shakespeare Company. Scott has performed award winning lead roles in major commercial musicals, and appeared in many films and TV shows.

As a Teacher/Director Scott has worked at NIDA,VCA, Monash University and was the Director of Showfit Musical Theatre course in Melbourne for 7 years.

Creative Kids is a NSW Government initiative aimed at making it easier for school-aged kids (4.5 to 18 years old) to get involved in creative and cultural activities.
