Want to build skills in acting and theatre-making in a fun, supportive environment?

NORPA’s Young Makers Collective is a weekly theatre program for young creatives aged 12–15 and 16–19, designed to develop confidence, creativity and performance skills.

The program includes:

  • Acting techniques, improvisation and movement
  • Scene work and ensemble-based performance
  • Voice and character development
  • Exploring devised theatre-making

Across the term, participants will work towards a short performance to share with family and friends at the end of Term 2 — a chance to celebrate everything you’ve learned along the way.

Whether you’re new to theatre or already have some experience, this is an opportunity to train, perform and be part of a collective of passionate young makers at NORPA.

Young Makers Collective isn’t just for performers. If you’re creative and interested in writing, sound, composition, design or other aspects of theatre-making, you’re warmly encouraged to join and bring your ideas into the room.

Each week is underpinned by play, fun and teamwork, creating a welcoming space for young people to experiment, collaborate and grow.
