NORPA Foundation

There’s never been a more important time to give to the NORPA Foundation.

For over 25 years, NORPA has entertained, connected and engaged with our community, challenging you with the new and the extraordinary, and inspiring you with stories from the country and culture around us.

The arts and culture industries have been some of the hardest hit by the COVID-19 crisis. Our theatres are closed, we’ve lost box office revenue and many artists and creatives are out of work.

As we approach the end of the financial year, we ask for your support so we can emerge from the COVID-19 crisis strong and ready to bring our community, artists and audiences together again through great theatre experiences.

We are makers

NORPA is one of only a few regional theatre companies in Australia that creates original theatre inspired by place. This work creates unique experiences for local and visiting audiences and, very importantly, contributes to Australia's collective cultural landscape.

We inspire young people

We inspire young people

Our youth theatre program provides opportunities for 5,000 primary and secondary school students from across the Northern Rivers each year. We are currently developing an extensive Youth Theatre Program, which will see us create professionally led youth productions.
