Important updates regarding COVID-19
All updates regarding COVID-19 will be posted here for our patrons and community.
Update: Monday 2 August
We are actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and implementing appropriate measures based on the advice from health authorities. The uncertainty continues to have significant impacts on the wellbeing and viability of the arts and creative industries, including NORPA.
The NSW Government recently announced changes to the restrictions for regional Cinemas, Theatres and Entertainment Venues.
Audience capacity is limited to 50% for events with allocated seating. Some events may be off sale as they have reached the reduced capacity. When restrictions lift, more tickets will be released.
A number of upcoming performances at NORPA and Lismore City Hall have been postponed or cancelled as follows:
NORPA 2021 Season
CHEEKY | New dates in 2021 will be announced soon
The Four Seasons, ACO Collective | CANCELLED
Once, by Darlinghurst Theatre Company | CANCELLED
The Man With The Iron Neck by Legs On The Wall | CANCELLED
All shows from September onwards are expected to go ahead as planned at this stage.
Non Season performances at Lismore City Hall
Archie Roach | new date Wed 8 October
Kitty Flanagan | new dates Fri 12 and Sat 13 November
The Tap Pack | new date Sun 21 November
We’ll keep you updated via email and social media of any further changes.
Box Office will make contact with ticket purchasers for postponed performances via email, SMS and/or phone.
These are challenging times across our industry, for NORPA and arts workers. If you’re able, you can support us by choosing a gift voucher for future use or a tax-deductible donation instead of a refund. Your generosity will help NORPA continue doing what we do best – making and presenting world-class theatre for our region.
Theatre connects us and nurtures community. As we navigate our way through this precarious time for NORPA and the wider arts community, we appreciate and thank you for your support.
