Love For One Night is an outdoor event at the Eltham Hotel so there’s a few things we want you to know to help make sure you have an incredible night out!

I want to have dinner before the show, how do I book? 

Dinner bookings are essential! Seating times are available from 5pm-6:15pm to ensure you are fed before the show starts. Check out the menu here.

I’d love to stay at the pub, how do I book accommodation? 

Accommodation is available to book during the season. It’s limited to two rooms per night so jump online to check availability and book. (Please note, you will not be able to access your room while the show is on). 

Where do I park? 

There is parking located around the pub in the village of Eltham. It is limited, so we recommend carpooling. Designated drivers can grab a free soft drink, just make yourself known to the bar team.  There is limited disabled parking for permit holders near the western entrance to the pub, near the Box Office tent.   

What should I wear, will it be cold? 

The pub is located in the idyllic Eltham village. Temperatures drop after the sun goes down. Even if it’s warm where you live, we strongly recommend bringing a beanie, warm clothing, some additional layers and a weatherproof jacket.  

What do I do when I arrive? 

Head straight to the Box Office tent to grab your wristband. The show will start at 7:30pm sharp so if you’re having dinner (make sure you book!), order your food, grab a drink from the bar and enjoy the pub till showtime! The bar will also be open after the show.

Can I take food and drinks to my seat? 

Yes! Grab a drink pre-show from the bar, and if you haven’t quite finished your dinner, you can bring it with you!  Drinks must be in plastic cups, and food in takeaway containers – grab them from the bar. Our ushers will help you at the entry to the seating area. 

How long is the show? 

The show runs approximately 80 minutes, without an interval. 

Can I take photos/videos? 

Filming and photography is not allowed while the show is on, but please feel free to take pics before and after and share away! 

Can I bring my kids? 

This show is recommended for ages 12 and up, due to adult content and strong language.  

What happens if it’s raining on show day? 

Love For One Night is an outdoor event. The show will go ahead unless extreme weather is a threat to patron’s, staff or performer’s safety. If it’s lightly raining you should expect the performance to proceed as scheduled. If any rain is predicted, we strongly recommend coming prepared with a raincoat and/or poncho (umbrellas can’t be used while seated). 

We’ll provide as much notice as possible regarding any changes to performances due to extreme weather, however as weather conditions are unpredictable this status may change at any time. We’ll get in touch with you via email and/or text, and please keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram for the most up to date information. 

What happens if the show is cancelled? 

If a show is cancelled, you’ll have the option to rebook on an alternative date (subject to availability) or you may request a refund. Please note, dinner & accommodation bookings remain valid, unless you reschedule them separately.   

The Eltham Hotel will be open rain, hail or shine!  

A night at the Eltham is always a good time! The team will be prepped and ready for dinner so even if the show can’t go on, your dinner booking is still locked in, so why not come out anyway and support your local!
